American Indian youth is in dire need, today, of uniting. They are often lost in direction, lost in culture and lost in incentives. One great way to reach out to this group is to create forums online and facebook pages where they can chat and bond. These high tech ideas utilize the rapidly changing technology world that children today worship and help to unite them online.
Other ideas include having meetings where American Indians can get together and talk about things that matter to them, and having fun get-always. All of these ideas allow American Indian youth to express themselves, but to do so in a fun environment where they don’t feel they are being judged or criticized.
In addition, it is important to be in touch with their parents, since there is a large gap in American society today between what American Indian parents expect and what the children expect.
